James Oukrop

Jim Oukrop is the Manager of Health and Safety for HealthPartners, Inc. Jim started with HealthPartners in 1979 and has managed their self-insured workers compensation program since 1990. Wisconsin and all states workers compensation programs were added in 2005. He is also responsible for OSHA and EPA compliance and employee health and safety programs.

Jim has been on the Board of the Minnesota Employer Workers Compensation Alliance since 2009, serving as Vice President 2012–2015, and President 2016–2018. He also serves on the WCRA Member Advisory Committee.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He also holds an ARM designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
